Meet Judson Dacher-Shapiro

Dr. Judson Dacher-Shapiro graduated from SUNY Binghamton with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor in Spanish. After graduation, he was accepted by the US Navy into the Health Professions Scholarship Program.  He went on to attend the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, which is now known as Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. He graduated in the top 10 percent of his class and earned election into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.  He was selected for training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD where he served as the Chief Resident during his last year.  During his time in Bethesda, he was also awarded the Joint Service Achievement Medal for his contributions to the department and hospital. , Dr. 

Dr. Shapiro is enjoying his return to the Northeast, where he grew up playing Ice Hockey throughout New England.  Since moving to Rhode Island, he and his wife have been exploring while taking advantage of all the outdoor activities and seafood the state has to offer.
