Meet Brian L. Ruggiero, DMD, MD
Dr. Brian Ruggiero is native to the Northeast and is excited to be back home after living in the Midwest for the last several years. Dr. Ruggiero grew up on the north shore of Long Island before moving to Boston to complete his undergraduate studies at Tufts University, where he played varsity lacrosse for 4 years and won a National Championship in 2010. Dr. Ruggiero then went on to earn his doctorate in dental medicine at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. During his time in dental school, Dr. Ruggiero quickly developed a passion for surgery and taking care of surgical patients and their families. Following dental school, he entered a 6-year Oral and Maxillofacial surgical training program at the University of Michigan. As a surgical resident, Dr. Ruggiero also earned his Medical Degree, a 2-year certificate in general surgery, and received extensive anesthesia training.
Dr. Ruggiero enjoys practicing a full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery including wisdom tooth surgery, dental implants, orthognathic surgery, nerve repair, trauma, and pathology. He takes pride in treating each patient with care, professionalism, and kindness.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Ruggiero enjoys spending time with his wife and young daughter, hiking, fishing, and playing hockey
