Meet Dr. Kimberly C. Bentjen, D.D.S., M.D.

Dr. Kimberly Bentjen graduated Summa Cum Laude from Pacific Union College in California, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration while taking pre-dental courses.  She attended Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, earning her DDS and graduating in the top ten of her dental school class.  Amongst various awards she earned there, she was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.  Dr. Bentjen then completed a six-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota.  During this time she obtained an MD from Mayo Medical School and a two-year certificate in General Surgery.

 After completing her training, Dr. Bentjen worked in both private practice and in the hospital settings in Pennsylvania and Ohio before moving to Rhode Island.

 Dr. Bentjen is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.  She is a member of many leading medical and surgical organizations, including the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American College of Surgeons.

 In her free time, Dr. Bentjen enjoys reading, exercising, traveling, and cooking with her husband.  She also enjoys spending time exploring the outdoors with her dog.
